A Field Guide to the Ferns of New England and Adjacent New York

Michael Burgess, author of A Field Guide to the Ferns of New England and Adjacent New York, has graciously allowed us to distribute this guide online via our website.

Michael wrote this guide while studying at Antioch New England University, in Keene, NH, where he received a Master of Science in Resource Management and Conservation. He is currently a graduate student in the Ecology and Environmental Science Ph.D. program at the University of Maine, Orono (http://ees.umaine.edu). Michael is researching the systematics and evolution of Amelanchier (Rosaceae). His studies will support the larger goal of monographing the genus. More details can be found at: http://biology.umaine.edu/Amelanchier/Home.html
